In 1938, the Founder established the National School in Kuwait providing free education to needy children. As the Kuwait Government expanded its program of providing universal schooling for the populace, it was decided that the School should be used to generate funds for less fortunate children elsewhere. The New National School became an institution run on a commercial basis in the late 1980s. Today, its revenues support the Foundation`s educational activities abroad, which funds 334 schools and provides educational opportunities to 33609 students. The National School has over 1888 pupils and stands established as the
oldest private school in Kuwait. However, student bursaries are still offered to pupils in need.
